I discovered electrology in my early years of college while attending a nursing program. I had issues with unwanted hair myself and like many others wanted it removed permanently. I went for sessions religiously with an Electrologist for about 2 years before I decided to change my career and become an Electrologist myself.
I did my research and found the Electrology Institute of New England, one of the best schools in the country, where I learned the importance of proper skin care and proper electrology technique. It was there that I realized I had received poor treatments for over two years which only worsened my condition. I began treatments with proper care and it indeed worked wonders for me!
As an experienced licensed Electrologist, it is my goal to give the same care I received to others. I am very excited to join Dorothy Moreno, RN’s practice and begin to help people feel more beautiful and self confident.

As many people do, I became interested in practicing as a Professional Electrologist as a result of personal experience as a patient/client. While studying to become a registered nurse, I read about Electrolysis in my medical textbooks, stating that it was the only treatment for excessive hair growth (hirsutism) that was permanent. And I had a condition that needed that treatment.
Having found a knowledgeable, skilled, professional Electrologist , I followed the treatment plan and was cured of my problem. Electrolysis left my skin in perfect condition - no scars, no enlarged pores or damage and most important of all, no hair! I have been enjoying smooth, hair free skin for many years, truly the test of time.
Now, I bring the benefit of my knowledge, skills, and personal experience to you. Professionally trained and licensed in both Electrolysis and Nursing (current NJ licenses), I continue to bring the most up to date information and techniques to my clients from these complimentary professions through continuing education and training.
